This Saturday will be the final event at the new AVA in North Oakland, so please come out and support. I am happy to announce that we will be joining up with the ALTAR BAR live music venue in the Strip District, developing their food program during shows; and eventually creating a daytime cafe within the space. We will also be hosting events at Altar Bar’s main room and its private green room. I am thankful for all those who supported AVA Cafe & Lounge’s short little life. I look forward to bringing that same love and energy into our new project at Altar Bar in Strip. – Justin and Anand Young

Gene Stovall will perform live with his band at AVA Bar & Lounge on October 11th with special guest. 8pm until midnight. $12 at the door includes the corkage fee for your very own BYOB and a drink on the house (smiley face).
Delicious Mexican Cuisine available thanks to Fernando and Brassero Grill. Brassero Grill makes Burritos, Tacos, and Quesadillas with simple ingredients. Most of Brassero’s products are local and organic, to make traditional Mexican healthy fusion food.
Additional music provided by DJ Stov Serato for your dance party and singalong needs.
“At least once a year, I try to play a gig that features the music that I wrote. This is an announcement of that gig. I have lots of unfinished songs. I wanna play them for you, now that some of these songs are finished. So, I’m having concert at Ava Lounge (before it closes its doors for good) on Saturday, Oct 11th. Save the date.
