Opened February 19, 2014.

Ava is now open in North Oakland, after having left its original East Liberty location in July 2013. Lunch is served weekdays in the ground floor cafe, with occasional BYOB evening events (Calendar).

Ava owner Justin Strong and general manager Anand Young teamed up with Quiet Storm’s Jilly MacDowell to bring essential coffee and globally inspired food & drink to the North Craig Street corridor. Vegetarian, vegan & gluten-free offerings are available.

The second floor kitchen & lounge is currently under construction. Regular evening hours featuring shared plate dining, liquor & entertainment coming in Summer 2014.
